I think he forgot to include the other "T"
He's asking the question in HTT thread. smile.gif

So he must be trying to understand about HTT, not HT. smile.gif

I have question to ask ... With these hypertransport thing. would it help in encoding or transcoding movie??

I am planning to get an phenom ... One of the main reason is pricing and the other is because its AMD.. Somebody has to support it ... Does the TLB error has a huge effect on encoding or transcoding ...??

?????

plus Hyper Transport IS NOT a AMD tech
Just because only AMD utilise this technology doesnt mean they own it...
doh.gif

Intel type mobo also use this tech,
but on nvidia chipsets, and uses to connect the southbridge and the northbridge

i know that they made coorperation by several companies, but if u look between AMD and Intel proc between these two rivals..AMD implement it on his tech, not Intel..since the dinodragon is a new to this,i'm simply say it is a AMD tech to differentiate it from Intel, since Intel use diff tech to communicate..don't get me wrong

no offence no offence biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
