can the key be duplicated? meaning.. if i drop the key.. and that key is being picked up.. and that fella copies the data out into another thumbdrive.. possible?

Very good product. Used by a lot of car manufacturers for their agents to check on their spare part details and ordering etc. I've only seen Chevrolet, Auto Bavaria and Daimler Chrysler using this sort of key. Teh rest not yet see liao.

sorry ,if u drop the key, unless u remember the your 'long' password,if yes
u can re-define the key-id

this is not thumdrive, no data inside the key

is the id-key listed on the device it self..??
just say an IT manager wanna make a list off all the key that they have and it coresponds to which user...
like
user a is using key 1111111111111111
user b is using key 2222222222222222
an do on...
can the IT manager have a list like taht..?? incase they the staff lose the key..the IT manager still can access the PC of the staff that is in trouble..?

one computer only can use one key

but incase u loss the usb key, u still can use the password enter into the computer

about the password, depend what password u like to setup. it is depend on your self

Hi,

So after unplug USB key, izit posible to shut down or reboot PC? thn all data will lost oso lor unsure.gif n after reboot, will prompt to OS or still required user to key in ID(still under protection, but data lost)?

unplug the key, people have to keyin password to access. or plug back the key.

what i mean access. mean normal shut down. or copy any file.

or elase, event the cut off the power for your computer. it will come back ask them to enter the access code, or plug the usb key.
