just got this laptop for my dad yesterday
it's actually the newer version of acer aspire 4750G
the manufacture date stated on the box is 17/6/2011
now should be available at all retail store with rm2299 price!

WHY THIS MODEL IS RECOMMENDED?
-is a very budget wise laptop, rm2299
-with NEW technology processor AKA sandy bridge
-upper mid range graphic card for gaming
-support new external harddisk with USB 3.0

The lid of the laptop somehow reminds me of my friend's Asus. Very nice design and specs overall for a budget price. Thanks TS for uploading those photos!

ya the keyboard design is very nice.
but i found something bad about this laptop
the speaker was horrible.
the sound was just too bad

Can't expect anything from an Acer laptop with awesome specs but cheap price. My Acer is also like that. The Dolby Advanced Audio has no bass at all, the only way is to use a head phone..

if want good speakers, Asus is good...lol

Just bought this one today...I thought it's a bargain at RM 2,299.00 Was torn between this and Toshiba's L745-1052XR but fell for this...

Ya the speaker really disappointed me
Maybe can get a portable speaker like xmini
I owned a xmini and it's sound was very impressed me

Just curious, does this acer can open the lit by only one hand like the 4830tg? If yes my dad might getting one of this, the price and spec is killing

but don have anything lock or button need to press.

Got the nites (spelling?) free gift pack.

Sorely disappointed with the speaker quality. Even at 100% the volume is very low.

Mine is a mere 4.8, from Graphics. I find this odd, as I saw Toshibas with the same processor but GT 525M having a score of 5.5! I thought GT525M is supposed to be inferior over our GT540M?

Have to ask those 4830t owner, i think only difference in design

disappointg speakers? low volume due to mono speaker or wat? there are some newer acer laptops that only has one speaker. cutting cost. 4830TG has 4 speakers.hehe. puas hati!
