But if I get those wood chips, I will still have to break them into smaller pieces right?

I am about to ask a very idiotic question (maybe for all beetle lovers), but do you have any cheaper grubs I can use for feeder (for my lungfish)?
Maybe not the rhino beetle or stag beetle. Maybe some cheaper ones I can buy in bulk. Thank you! |

Hi Guys,
Congratulations on the many nice pictures and the breeding advice. I'm new to the forum and just like you a big fan of beetles and beetle breeding. I live in Belgium and I'm breeding many Cetonidae, some Dynastidae and some Lucanidae. ( Mecynorrhina torquata, Mecynorrhina ugandensis, Chalcosoma atlas, Chalcosoma caucasus Allomyrina dichotoma and many others) I see many many beetles here I would love to try breeding one day. (small and big ones) So if anyone has some live beetles for sale and is willing to send them to Europe I would be very happy to either trade with them or compensate them for the beetles and the shipping costs. Thank you all. Best regards, Titus |

QUOTE(SAMPERTH @ May 28 2011, 05:45 AM) Can post or not?And if I wanna start my own colony, does this mean they must first transform into beetles, then only can have grubs? @_@ What if they fly and attack ppl, like cockroaches...So scary.... |

If hook into skin then tickle the thorax to coax it to move,if you pull,it's not the beetles legs that break, most of the time is your skin that gets ripped hmmmmmm i sked of bettle cuz they can release out those smelly odor.... where did u keep ur beetles ? inside ur room ? doubt that ur room must be smelly.... Rhinoceros and stag beetles don't release any stinky odor, maybe you mean stink bugs?they're not beetles All the beetles kept in my room Added on May 28, 2011, 10:42 pm QUOTE(TitusEU @ May 28 2011, 06:57 PM) Hi Guys, Post some of your collections too Congratulations on the many nice pictures and the breeding advice.
