yeah....kvr also can.but make sure u not too high....add cooler for better result.smile.gif

nothing works better than bare rams on air being blown by a fan smile.gif And Kvrs now.. are hopeless, unless u have this

1.DDR2 533 rams coz these have D9GCT(godlike)

Can anyone give me a handbook or something 4 overclock my rig?
im using AMD dual core 4400,mobo AN52S,ram values select corsair 1GB, GC XFX 8500GT 256MB

you cant learn OCing with handbooks. You learn by reading it and searching it by yourself. NO one is kind enough tio give you handbooks... by the way Kmarc has a good guide.. and search for his threads. By the way u wont get much from the specs you have.

hi guy....which 1 give more accurate temp readg,core temp or cpu right mark?i hav this problm at high temp.somtimes it gives 3degree different readg.smile.gif

Try real temp,need to calibrate through.As long as the DTS is not faulty,is is very accurate. brows.gif

hello to all oc expert....hehe:)

i hav a problem.1st u see my rig settg below.now i already oc to 3.2.but when i run orthos,temp reach 72'degree(stable).so,do u hav suggestion to help me reduce d temp?

core speed:3204.2
multiplier:x9
bus speed:356
vcore:1.44v
dram fre:356
vdimm:2.0v

Reduce your vcore or your overclock. Get better 3rd party HSF. Open your side casing panel or better casing airflow....

i used thermalright ultima-90.
i already try to reduce d vcore....but d oc bcome unstable.smile.gif
when u reduce d fsb or oc,i become unhappy....hehe.

so,now ill try open my casing for good airflow....smile.gif

For me when first time I oc I just get into the bios and play around. Make sure not to set voltage unnecessarily. Increase the FSB step by step. For amd u need to get the HTT multiplier according to fsb increase. Naturally X2 HTT should not over 1GHz but some mobo can handle it. Gd luck.
