Long time didn't see you here already !!!  biggrin.gif   Why do you suddenly want a classic MasterCard anyway ? I'd recommend you Alliance Bank Younique MasterCard.

By the way guys, i received my Maybankard 2 via Poslaju just about an hour ago and i must say the cards look pretty darn good ! The credit limit given to me however is so freaking low. The lowest of all of my current cards ... Hopefully they will auto increase my credit limit after 1 or 2 years ...  biggrin.gif

Happy Chinese New Year. rclxms.gif

Haha rclxms.gif busy lately. I not very keen on Alliance Bank. Recently got a letter from Alliance Bank, thought its a free Trip to China turns out to be air tickets own account, the rest accommodation and food are free. They should give everything free if the bank want to reward us for using their card. Not sincere brows.gif

don't pump too much because I am sure you won't get anything with MBB visa  tongue.gif Have a save trip.

QUOTE(zenquix @ Feb 4 2011, 11:02 PM)
better to just pump RM10 then the rest with the Amex tongue.gif

QUOTE(erry- @ Feb 4 2011, 11:12 PM)
my mbb visa now is -rm22 (since maybank give rm50 to cover gst which i already paid 1st before due date).

so i will pump rm30 at esso. at least got 30 smiles points and a chance to win perodua myvi brows.gif

very weird today. 1st time using mbb visa at esso.

swipe (slot) at pump, declined! try again, same - declined! vmad.gif
(my available credit limit is 5 digits and current bill is negative, why declined? rclxub.gif)

then go inside and try swipe rm30 at counter - approved! doh.gif

now just arrived at home, check m2u online, no recent transaction, still -rm22.70
so need to wait till the esso transaction appear and will see the TP ~

OT = traffic jammed very bad from bentong to genting sempah! usually 15mins but tonight 7pm need 90mins! sweat.gif

For those using MBB2Kard Amex, when the transaction has been posted, any immediate update to the TP? I noticed my transaction gets posted but the TP is still showing 0 [1st transaction since I got the card]

Hi all,

I need some advice here. I wish to apply a credit card as i will be using it to pay my Digi iphone package and monthly petrol.
I am a first timer and do not know anything about plastic money. so here is my situation:

1) I got to realize that some credit card give rebates when pump petrol.
2) I need to pay RM200 monthly with my credit card to digi

So, the question is:

1) What kind of credit card should I apply? (citibank or etc?) assuming i prefer to pump Shell
2) I am a student, can I apply?
3) Does it have any hidden charges? like, if digi bill is RM200 and petrol is RM100. Total is suppose to be RM300. Will it be more than RM300 as there are hidden charges) - assuming I pay every month on the dot (without delay) I will only use to pay my Digi bill and Petrol. Nothing else

Thank you guys! smile.

1) Try either the OCBC Titanium Mastercard which gives 5% cash-bnack rebate on petrol & Digi bills (and grocery, dining, utility bills)

2) Can you show proof of income if you are a student ?

3) no hidden charges... if pay statement balance before or on the due date.

Checked mine again. It has indeed been updated. By the way, my card has been issued like only 2 weeks ago but it seems that they have already billed me my first bill ... Can see this in my M2U.

how hard is it to google that up?

you will find your desired answer faster than you can actually type the question above.

of coz OCBC Titianum MC can pay Maxis bill, and get 5% cashback.

Its not recommend basic salary amount, but minimum basic salary amount, which is RM3000 per month.

GST charge will be eventually charged.
It may not appear in the first bill but will appear anytime between the 2-4 bill.
