those reviews kinda confusing actually.

in som review, 6870 is on par, if not slightly better den gtx470.

in som review, 6870 is just barely better den gtx460 & loosing out in a lot fo the cases.

guru3d clearly shows 6870 is somehow a little faster den gtx470, while bit-tech reviews shows dat 6870 barely on par with gtx460 1GB.

6850 going to cost ~RM750 and according to sources, it is as easy as 5850 to overclock its core to 1GHz (with some voltage bump) and it gives GTX460 a run for its money. going to buy if it drops down to ~RM500 biggrin.gif

I like how some of the reviews also question AMD's need to name what should have been the HD 6700 as HD 6800.

The cards look good and they're on my shortlist to buy if I need them, but they would have been much more classier and impressive if they were the HD 6700.

hmm, this is just the estimation, but taking into currency exchange and shipping cost. probably it will cost RM700+ when it reached our shore and then drops to ~RM650.

AMD already mentioned they want accomodate for some naming conventions used on their fusion products, so it will be saturated with many models coming next year, thats why they moving 57XX to 68XX

this is true. this something we just got to get used to. in the long run, with more product entering the market and amd gaining market share, hopefully we will see by end of next year amd shown to have its renaming convention justified. already upcoming is 69xx series next month which means xmas shopping gonna be so exciting, imagine 2011 gonna be full of surprises and excitement. brows.gif

I trust Guru3D more too. They tested more stuffs and they have better technicians and also the forumer in it(name TwL) create godlike driver for AMD GPUs as well.
On top of that, techpowerup show the similar result as Guru3D did. This will mean bit-tech is bullshitting here.

Radeon HD6870 doesn't have 3rd Party HSF Edition? But still, Stock HSF Edition always have very sexy looking. LOL.
