If you looking for female doctor especially for klang people, can visit Sheela Women Specialist at Taman Rashna, Klang (In front Jusco Bkt Raja/ behind maybank at Menara Trend) Look for Dr Sheela or Dr Hawa, which is my mom... |

QUOTE(jaynick1354 @ Mar 5 2012, 07:59 PM) I live in Kepong. Me & my husband don't mind any hospital or clinic but as long it's responsible & doesn't cost us a bomb! We r looking at RM6k max! Dunno still got this song to sing or not... Hahaha Hi jaynick,But now, I had done 2 tests, 1 with just the indicator which shows a very fine line that say I'm pregnant & 1 'ClearBlue' with weeks indicator. So I had to start planning now for the C-session cost. Pls help me out! i am currently seeing Dr. Neoh at KPJ Damansara... 1st consultation.. near to RM200... subsequent consultation.. around RM100 .. blood test + urine .. different charge.. my budget is under 10k.... hoping it won burst my budget.. but i did allocate extra budget.. for back up plan.. my advice... allocate extra budget untill 15-20k.. if u plan private... or else.. jz back up plan with GH or.. straight go GH.. |

I'm going to PAH (Penang Adventist Hospital) under Dr. Soon Su Seong (a very caring and attentive doctor that explains everything)
You can get the normal delivery charges at PAH website which exclude admin fee which is less than RM50 (for my first child - 5 years ago so now i think should be around there also). For C-Sec x3 from normal package stated. Vacuum or forcep or induce should add a few hundred (Dr. Soon said it's not much but didn't tell me the exact amount) Epidural - RM900. Monthly check up includes consultation fees, ultrasound, urine test is around RM85 less (not include prenatal vitamin which u can decide u want to purchase from there or get it from outside pharmacy. The full blood test to check on the HIV and other things cost around RM100. I would recommend PAH as they're fully on breastfeeding support, the have experience lactation nurse, caring nurse, rooming in with baby. So far I can't find any negative thing about it yet ^^. p:s this is base on Dr. Soon charges that I got from my visit, other drs in PAH might charge differently on the monthly prenatal check up. |

my past delivery charges:
Hospital: Gleneagles Medical Centre Gynea: Dato Dr Abdul Aziz Paed: Dr Adrian Goh 1st child, SON (year 2008): - (A) mother cost: normal delivery + epidural + emergency c-sec + additional pain relief during csec + 4Days 4 Nights Single Room - (B) baby cost - Total (A) + (B) : 8k+ and 3k+ : end up around 12k+ 2nd child, DAUGHTER (year 2010): - (A) mother cost: normal delivery + vacuum + 3 Days 3 Nights Single Executive Room (bigger than Single Room) - (B) baby cost - Total (A) + (B) : 3.9k+ and 1k+ : end up around 5k+ referring to my itemized bill, fee for consultant/specialist visit during weekend/public holiday is different from normal working hrs. hospital preference depends on individual choices, u set the criteria. for me; 1)Cost 2)Doctor 3)Service 4)Environment (privacy setting).. health cost is very unpredictable, most important set it within your limit. in private hosp, eventhough u plan for normal delivery, extend ur budget to at least 10k, just in case there is any last minute emergency. my 1st child is emergency csec, the gynea wont simply cut ur stomach..baby heartbeat and contraction monitors are all around you,so u can see it by yourself..i even refused to go for csec and the gynea agreed to wait for another 1-2 hrs. after 2 hrs, when the progress is not looking well, only then i agreed to be sent to OT. for 2nd child, went back to see the same doctor and hospital. since my 2nd delivery is less than 2 years from my 1st csec delivery, gynea prohibited me from pushing the baby too hard,to avoid any rupture to the rahim (bcoz last one jahit kan), and he use vacuum instead. and very relief bcoz there is no sign of vacuum on the baby's head, round as normal.
