No new leaked firmwares for a while now.

I'm having withdrawal symptoms from lack of flashing tongue.gif Even to the extent of wanting to flash JP3 just to try 2.2 again. I remembered it was quite buggy and difficult for day to day use.

Cmon Samsung. More firmwares!!!

ive just recently dwnloaded and installed the Galaxy S boot screen live wallpaper from this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=760768

my question is, how do i get to delete this live wallpaper from my phone?

any ideas?

i'd installed oneclick lag fix 2.3, these few days strange thing happen is, the internet (stock) browser, keeps on off by it self.

Anyone facing the same problem?

My third call to maxis kinda make me discover new possibilities. I was told by a third maxis cust service agent that i was being charged on 30 seconds block not 1 min!! don't know how true is this but this is the explanation given by him. i tried calling every few hours to get different agent to find out the reason. so far ive got 3 from 3 different people.


1) you exceeded your data plan (i signed for 1.5GB.3G watchdog shows usage of 100MB+)
2) you exceeded your call plan, e.g. you think your calling maxis no., but actually the other user switched telco, so exceed call plan (As of yday 10pm, checked through *100#, i only used rm 46+ out of my RM50 plan)
3) maxis charges user based on 30 secs block, not 1 minute. (not sure about this..)

that already narrows down your possibilities. if you got barred today, that can only mean certain activities that happen between 10pm last nite and this morning. should be easy for you to recall and fight them. btw, can you view your call/sms/mms/data details on the maxis website like we can on Digi?

anyway it's all crap that maxis is serving to it's customers. they can always throttle/send reminders etc once your usage exceed or nears your limits. but they won't, they will happily let you incur as much as you like (while you are happily watching youtube or something)

don't tell me such an advance tech company has trouble implementing such software, but they won't do it coz they can get away with charging more from their customers' "mistakes". well technically you can't win becoz it's all in black and white. you did exceed your limits after all. but what they are doing, while legally right is morally wrong. that's why i won't support companies like this.

i only bought the sgs from them becoz i needed a phone badly at that time and sgs was attractive. but i cancel the contract almost immediately and paid off the bloodsucker. in fact, ended up paying less than rrp and got proper warranty, and got out of the big M's chains ....mlm to M......LOL

Kepada pelanggan maxis, berhati-hati penggunaan data untuk bulan pertama jika tarikh bil dengan tarikh line diaktifkan tidak sama. Penggunaan data tidak dikira untuk sebulan tetapi mengikut hari. Contohnya jika melanggan pakej 500 MB, sehari hanya boleh menggunakan 10 MB sahaja. Jika pakej 1.5 G, sehari hanya boleh menggunakan 50 MB. Jika lebih daripada itu untuk sehari, maka akan dikenakan 10KB=10 sen. Itu yang terjadi kepada saya walaupun saya mengaktifkan line pada 12 hb julai tetapi tarikh bil ialah pada 10 hb. Saya telah dikenakan bayaran tambahan untuk data sebanyak RM67.00 bagi penggunaan yang lebih selain RM78 bagi pakej bundle sedia ada. Sedangkan dari 12 julai hingga 10 ogos saya hanya menggunakan 484MB. Ini merupakan satu ketidakadilan kepada pelanggan kerana perkara ini tidak diberitahu semasa mendaftar. perkara ini hanya berlaku untuk bulan pertama sahaja kerana selepas bulan kedua, penggunaan akan dikira untuk sebulan. Maaf menggunakan Bahasa Melayu

ya this explanation is more logical of what happen. eventhough your 3g watchdog write 100mb only, on a day how much have you use? if one day you use 100mb.. 90mb = 90000kb (rough estimate) x 0.10 = rm90

Unlike Maxis, I tried called Celcom to know how many usage I have been used and they told me 300mb/5Gb. And Maxis known as #1 telco in Malaysia, they shouldn't have problem telling us we're nearing or exceed the data limited usage doh.gif

Yes, but mine is Rm270 but credit limit suppose to be RM100, yet they didn't blocked me instead let it up to RM270 then block it mad.gif mad.gif
