so i register ivalue 1 n value plus family (rm30) den i can enjoy unlimited free calls n sms?

Maxis don't explain anything about prepaid plan for iPhone 4. Can anyone explain problems that I may face if I used iPhone 4 with prepaid?

One is I cannot send/receive mms if I switch off cell data to avoid overusage of data.

anyways.. i hv a 3gs contract with about 15 more months to go.. (took up the 24 mths variant) with ivalue 1 plan..

if i dont wish to buy the ip4, will my plan be automatically converted to the one offered to ip4? with 1gb data?

cause i dont see any possibility upgrading my plan and retaining my phone.

unless i moved to ivalue plan 2..

ivalue 1 iphone4- 12month- RM1690 is the rm1690 included the prepayment?? cause the prepayment is rm200~

Of cause not. Say u're getting iValue 1 with iphone 4 12 months 16GB, you will pay RM1690 + RM200 upon registration. The RM200 will be credited back to you equally over the first 5 months. [eg, which is RM40, means you will only pay RM60 for the first 5 month]

if i take ivalue 1...my call credit limit is rm49.95? since it says free 333min

so i use 15sen / min x 333 min = rm49.95...

is this the meaning of ivalue 1 plan?

free local calls n SMS between family lines means free calls n sms to/from principle line n supplementary lines. actually it's not exactly "unlimited" la but the minutes n number of SMS is huge, cant recall how much exactly.

so if u're a principle line n u have a supp line...when u get ivalue plan, u still can call/SMS ur supp line for free n vice versa like normal. same goes to value plans + idata. the difference is value plans + idata still can share usage chargers whereas ivalue cannot share

hmm i'm using the Value First (RM30/month) voice plan, i can keep this existing number and change my plan to iValue right?
(note: this plan is only activated last 2 months, where Maxis actually has a policy where u need to remain in 1 plan for at least 6 months)

Last year 3Gs 16GB with 2 years iValue 1 selling RM1590 and my office corporate plan only RM1090.

I am wonder this year for iPhone 4 16GB, same contract, how much the corporate plan is. Maybe below RM1000 since the new rate only RM1390.

yes you can change ur value 30 plan to ivalue, though im not too sure about the 6 months policy :S

im currently under iValue1 24 months contract, am i eligible to upgrade/extend the contract to 24 months for iphone 4 package and enjoy cheaper upfront for iphone 4 price?

i went to maxis queensbay yesterday, they said maximum only 12 months contract for those who upgrade/extend their current contract.

If a supplementary line would like to register with the Idata package. Will a letter + photostat ic from the principal suffice? If yes, could someone guide me on what do I write on the letter itself?

It is better to bring both letter and IC. Besides, it only cost you few grams extra in your pocket / bag so no harm. I think just write a letter to acknowledge that the principal approves you to get the iPhone4 on behalf it is good enough, and of course make sure got authorization signature.

there will be separate packages for corporate plans.


there's no 24 months new contract extension. maximum is 12 months. just clarified with Maxis.

from past experience, you will need both authorization letter and and photocopy of IC of the principle line holder.

somehow, I have this feeling its not gonna be valid. for any contract to be legal, the 2 parties must sign n chop the agreement.

do take photos if your plan goes thru...
