I have 2 partition on my external harddisk. but only now i realize that one of the partition is not showing on 'My Computer'. when i check with disk management, the partition is still there. Here I attach the screenshot:

When i use Active@ PArtition recovery, the lost partition is known as "new volume(1:)" and shows all the file in that partition.

Can someone please help me to retirieve back my partition and data. All of my portfolio is in there..  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

mind telling me what u can see after u right click that partition? It's most probably that THAT partition is not assigned to any letter. Hope that's your prob.

maybe accidently delete(not format) the partition, try use test disk, easy to use disk recovery software, documentation on how to use in their site

Hi guys. As I've mentioned in another thread, my PC has a tendency of crashing unexpectedly. Recently, my external HD became unaccessible after the crash. Strangely to me, few crashes before nothing similar occured.
Can anyone explain to me what is exactly going on? I am pretty much puzzled right now. rclxub.gif

HD normally unaccesible due to the disk problem or the motor problem. (maybe power can't be transmit, or the disk position already misplace.)
