Simple way to make realistic fire / cloud / thunder usng brushes ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Just search around for these brushes. Install them. Make a new document with dark colour background (so you can see stuff clearer later), pick a brush (cloud for example), change your front colour to pale-blue (not dark blue not bright blue), make a new latey and brush the cloud on.

Then duplicate the cloud layer, select the duplicated layer and press ctrl+u , slide the Brightness bar all way to the right. Then duplicate that layer a few time (2 - 4) then you got a realistic cloud.

------------

For fire or thunder, we only use 2 layers. Fire : 1 layer is brushed red, duplicate it. Select the duplicated layer and press ctrl+u , change the hue value to +60 so it gone yellow. Now with the blend of yellow on top of red, it sems more realistic. you can blend different kind of colour to produce the dynamic effect you want.

Photoshop brush n illustrator brush works differently. I dunno how to explain, but once u try both thing, n observe, u can see thier different. So u need to download em seperately.
