The Poster for The Social Network

Columbia Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with the poster for director David Fincher's The Social Network, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Joe Mazzello and Rashida Jones. A teaser site for the film has also launched here --> http://www.thesocialnetwork-movie.com/

Written and produced by Aaron Sorkin, the October 1st release is about the creation of Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg created the site in 2004 at Harvard during his sophomore year. It now has over 400 million members worldwide.

Eisenberg is playing Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg; Timberlake plays Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook's founding president; and Garfield plays Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money.

A film by DAVID FINCHER. Now I have to watch this, it's like an oath, I have to watch his movies no matter what it's about.

I wonder whether is it going to focus on zuckerberg's POV or is it neutral. That will be the dealbreaker if it's the former and not the latter.

David Fincher’s The Social Network Trailer Parodies Galore

Apparently I’m not the only one who thought those teasers and trailers for David Fincher’s Facebook
movie “The Social Network” was a tad, oh, I don’t know, just a little bit too serious and self-important for its own good. A lot of people thought so too and in the time-honored tradition of the Interwebs, lots of people have begun making parodies of “The Social Network” using other sites.

Via /Film, who have been collecting them for a while now.

Running time is 121 minutes. I think it's just about right considering Fincher's last two films were a little bit too long.

I am quietly enthusiastic but Black Swan > Social Network so far from what I've seen.

Same reason why The Wrestler and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button were compared.

...critics call it Fincher's best movie to date.

9 reviews thus far... all positive, giving a current perfect 100% score on RT.
