i dunno about the streak, but like other dell devices, u can fill this one form stated where u purchase it and u are about to transfer the warranty to other country u move in..
that's what i did to my dell lcd back then when 27" was not yet in Dell malaysia list.. by the way, i've been watching lots of Desire HD review and while I don't want the device, i cant deny i like HTC Sense a lot. I cant stop dreaming of HTC sense on 5" streak.. it's gonna be awesome!! |

Ya , got 2 agree with u , definately better than our DELL UI .... Tried it last night on 1.1.1 , hate it .....haiz ..... U got the HTC icons in your Streak ? kinda cool but u lose the top black bar which u can always install it back after installing the HTC icons ...... Oh ya , any suggestions for cpu monitor or battery usage ? somehow , after a factory format , battery life was very good but went down again after some applications installed ....loses like 10% on standby in 5 hours .... Find me a buyer as well, man. For 3k. I give you commission. LOL!
Anyways, on a side note. I wanna ask you guys here something. Do you guys use PAPAGO? I've purchased Papago X5 only to find it not working with the Streak. It says "Unsupported Resolution 480 x 800". How do I make it work? I tried the trick they do on the Samsung Galaxy Tab with Spare Part but still not working. Kindly advice. Thanks. |

Papago x5 works perfectly on my streak, both on previous 2.1 and present 2.2 ( Stephen build). There is no need any special settings. Just install and launch. Didn't try though on 1.6 original as this version on my phone only one day, upgraded to 2.1 build 6941 the next dayAnyways, on a side note. I wanna ask you guys here something. Added on November 11, 2010, 9:40 amThe latest article in streaksmart.com talked about Dell streak launch in Canada. It also mentioned the Dell streak was already launched in Malaysia and Singapore ...?? Officially did not hear anything about this yet This post has been edited by benny888: Nov 11 2010, 09:40 AM |

QUOTE(balak @ Nov 11 2010, 10:27 AM) You CANNOT upgrade to froyo ver 1.2 directly from eclair ver 2.1. It is very clearly stated in the requirements plea read it again. I suggest you install ver 1.1.1 froyo first from your present ver 2.1This post has been edited by benny888: Nov 11 2010, 10:46 AM |
