Connecting to verified servers:

1. Go to \Program Files\eMule\config and put these in staticservers.dat:

140.123.108.139:7654,0,TLF
62.241.53.2:4242,1,DonkeyServer No1
62.241.53.16:4242,1,DonkeyServer No2
193.138.221.213:4242,0,### SauGeileGirls ###
62.241.53.17:4242,1,DonkeyServer No3
62.241.53.4:4242,0,ProbenPrinz.de
194.213.0.20:3306,0,ByteDevils

2. Run emule and open Options -> Servers, disable all updates, then check "Connnect to static servers only"

3. update your servers through http://corpo.free.fr/server.met

yes emule indeed very slow these few days. If there was like 300 sources, still the speed very slow.
Before this my emule was like 50kbps. Nowadays, only 10-15kbps max.

10-15kbs is considered fast for me. Last night I downloaded a total of 40MB only. Last week, dowbload up to 300-400MB if only for about 12 hours.

Torrent is way fasssssssssssterrrrr than Emule. But emule has the most complete collection, IMHO.

yeah emule is the slowest
but i prefer emule than anything else,period.

i use it for nearly 2 years
run it 24/7

cos im a bit worried at my side

Ya. My Emule is dropping alot for download speed. and i tot im the one having this problem...

heh. fortunately my eMule slow down abit only.. from around 40kbs to 34kbps.. average..

I always get connection speed below 10kBps when using eMule. So, i felt no diffrence in connection speed recently.

u guys can try changing TCP port to 4242. I got the speed bump after changing the TCP port.

I suspect there are rogue servers there purposedly holding up the queues (probably setup by "you know who" to discourage users). vmad.gif
