1.5l with ugly weird rear for 120k??...no thanx rolleyes.gif
Even though Avanza is ugly, but still people buy them. So I won't go any deeper in that topic. Put styling aside.

This situation is like chicken & egg thing.

Honda Freed has electric sliding door, which is quite a treat, and two extra seats at the back. Great practicality, but, underneath the Freed, its share the same platform & engine as the Jazz.

Jazz cost about RM110k brand new, while the Freed is speculated about RM120k++.

So if the price is true,

Is 10k++ is worth it with those extra equipments?

avanza is the 1st with small size mpv in malaysia.. i know when avanza launched, many ppl buy it including me lol.. when i bought that time it is juz roughly 60k compared to this 120k.. ya, i know this car comes with many goodies and cbu but are the car 100% problem free in the 1st place? if it breakdown as frequent as my avanza, who wana spend 120k on it? thats y u hardly see jazz on the street.. old one banyak lah since many can be bought second hand lol laugh.gif And remember the more electronics u have, the higher the chances for that part to break down and prepare some huge cash XD
120k does not justify if the parts are more or less like avanza or exora e.g. plastic quality, underpower, small, etc

Well, I agree with you. People buy them for practical reason. We need to wait what option we're getting for Freed. Probably it doesn't have the electric sliding door just to lower the price and say "That's good enough for M'sians".

honda already plans to market Freed as a 'luxury' mini mpv.. so expect the price to be over RM100k.. even the jazz is already overpriced..
the Freed in indonesia has a conventional air-cond panel.. not electronic or climate-control.. and they want to advertise it as a luxury car?

I have no idea how Honda gonna sell this so call "Premuim MPV" when the price is over 100K. Now got rumors that this Freed will be selling at RM120k and above. Interior space isn't great, 1.5L without any turbo or Super charger and it is just merely a Honda, so sorry, I won't even think about it if the price is over 100K, don't say RM120K++

Replace Stream? Stream is only 2nd generation, man.
Freed is a direct replacement for Mobilio and Mobilio Spike.

ya saw it on a trailer heading to Glenmarie with other Honda cars. At first glance i tot it was a Jazz. Then felt weird because it was covered partially on the front and rear bumpers. Closed inspection it was the Freed, and its size is kinda like a bulkier Jazz, kinda like Alza.
