From what I read, you need bigger wattage pelts to cool CPU's which are made these days (eg. 226W). Other things to worry about is the insulation so as a conclusion, it's quite complex smile.gif I thought of trying but gave up the idea after a while.

i meant for bringing the temp down maybe 5-10C... still above ambient temp but lower than using wc or aircooler alone..

its very difficult to maintain the temps unless u create a controller tht control the supplied power to the pelt according to proc temp....

u might kill the mobo and proc due to short circuit when condensation happens...

if use psu cap ayam (standard 250W rite?) to power up only 130W (Max 15.5 Volts 8.5 Amps) pelt and a fan, ok or not?

actually still confuse how to calculate..

250W psu @ 12V, so the current = 20.83A ?

but Imax for pelt above only 8.5A?

someone plz enlighten me..

see ur specification of the pelt there.. have to regulate 1..

Added on July 31, 2008, 11:45 pmthis thing actually, if i put 6v instead of 12V, the Watt will half too?

letsay i connect to lab power supply 12V n 1A, so the cooling power = 12W rite? then if put 6V n 1A, the cooling power will be 6W?
