i believe if you have contacted your seller before you bought this item?
you must ensure the seller will include the posting to your country before you buy the item, for this you have to contact the seller and confirm from him. if you have confirmed it, i cant c any prob you might have for buying this item, except the seller is a cheater, or malaysia usual attitude... slow working attitude XD

The product is supplied by a seller but the person you're actually dealing with is Amazon. If there is any problem, you will deal with Amazon and Amazon will deal with whoever.

However, I suggest that you visit a local video/music store and ask them to order it for you. Some bookstores might do it for you too, like Kinokuniya.

If you buy from Amazon, they will charge you a very steep international shipping rate. Their free shipping only applied for shipping within UK.

Depends what kind of shipping you chose. I'm not sure of the exact price. It may take longer than a month to reach your house, or maybe less.

Just go though the checkout process all the way until it reaches the part where you have to pay with your CC or Paypal. That will be the total amount you have to pay in all. Make sure you have your address right and the country is set to Malaysia.

You won't be charged anything extra later. However, there is a possibility you may get get taxed by the customs, or they may tear open the box, not the wrapping, I mean the actual box with the Friends printed on it and remove the wrapping on the DVDs. These kind of things do happen, just to warn you.

They are the customs. They don't need your permission to open it.

I remember reading about a case where they used pen knives to cut or damage some collector's box for Coca-cola cans. To the collectors, the box was just as important as the cans. But to the customs, a box is a box and they'll have to open it to check it's contents.

ohh..i bought DVD video before from Amazon (Battlestar Galactical)
http://www.amazon.com/Battlestar-Galactica...8825703&sr=8-15
I use credit card to made the purchase

It was delivered to the PostOffice near Sepang airport. I have to go there to collect my parcel and pay tax. Lacky they don't block the parcel. of caurse they open it to check and they saw the cover, it look like Star War so they just let me have it.
(I guess according to movie film censorship law you need permit to import movie/video, correct me if i am wrong)

Now maybe they will deliver it to your home? i am not sure.

but later this set of DVD got stolen. (theift broken into my apartment)
and than later I saw this DVD set in Singapore last year so I bought one set again.

no, i did not get "permission", no need to call custom.
I made the order online in Amazon.com, pay by credit card than wait for the parcel.
i forgot how long i waited..maybe 2 or 3 weeks, than i received a notice from the postman.
The notice said my parcel is in the Sepang airport postoffice, i need to go there to collect the parcel.
(it was 5 yeasr ago!)

Later i also made online order book from amazon.com
the book was direct sent to my office, it took 2 weeks only.

thanks for sharing the experience!
it really help a LOT :-)

one more question,
let say my payment should be made is in

GBP(UK pounds) $40

then my debit card (public bank) should convert the currency to make the payment right?

so in that transaction, they should be "extra procedure fees"..

how much it cost? will it be more than RM 10?

thanks smile.gif

They banks will charge you an elevated interest rate and a transaction charge. Both are counted in a percentage of the total amount.

hey, thanks again :-)
let say my whole order cost me around RM 200, (DVD+postage after I estimate to RM from GBP)
will my order + "interest rate and transaction charge"

exceed RM250 in your opinion?
