guys,
I am thinking of subscribe any of above options, BIS or mobile broadband but I have no idea which 1 is better. from the price, it looks the same.
Celcom Rate:
Celcom Exec 50 + broadband advance = RM148 P48 + BIS + SMS pack RM2 = RM148
Differences I can figure out are: - BIS can be use in Blackberry only. Browsing, facebooking, etc are unlimited as long as on BB device. Normal pay per use rate will be charged if bb as moderm to connect to laptop. - Broadband can be use in any mobile device and acts as modem to connect to laptop for browsing, etc but limited to 5gb of bandwidth.
from my point of view, it looks like mobile broadband is better choice.
Any1 agree? or do I miss some important information about BIS and mobile broadband?

While you subscribe broadband on blackberry, then your BIS is not function. If you have a blackberry, go for BIS, if not then broadband.

BIS = Blackberry internet service.. If you got blackberry but no BIS, means your blackberry cant even go online.. That's BIS..
Broadband is for the phone to browse web at higher speed.. Correct me if I'm wrong..

BIS = Blackberry internet service, means it just can be use with blackberry devices. if you have blackberry, go for BIS. All native blackberry apps need to have BIS for it to connect to internet and use all it funcationality. If you have blackberry but didnt subscribe with BIS, you cannot use all the functionality. All the native apps such as fb, ym, email, etc... just wont work. you need to use third party apps.
Broadband is for all devices such as laptop, pc, hp to connect to the internet.
Both BIS and broadband are same, which function is to connect to the internet. But BIS is limited to blackberry devices only, and blackberry devices need BIS to work 100% functionality.
if you still dont understand, you can ask mr Google. easy.
