FYI
Basically there is no tax if you buy IT items for personal use from overseas to Malaysia. If you order from apple store Malaysia, items come from Singapore or China. No tax charged by Malaysian customs. |

Keyven: nope. It's the same price structure that I use to bring iPhoneand nexus before.
Nawzi: as with my other product. Product price is already covered probability of being taxed. Riddhy: 700usd + 7% us tax + expediate fedex shipping+ US friend incentive + tax probability+ shipping lost and kastam hold up risk + foreign remittance fee + getting it much earlier than any body else = rm3250 = piece of mind  this price is for first expediate shipment. Only four units will be available. I'll use cheaper shipping for next batch, which will be cheaper. Eta for 2nd batch is 3 week of april. I'll come up with the price soon. US charges taxes for their residents. Not for overseas exports. In Malaysia 30% taxes are exempted for IT products imported on personal basis. However iPAD will be in Malaysia by end April(as per sales man from Apple Store Malaysia)  |

3g version doesn't have release date yet. But will bring it in later if got demand.

Since the warranty is from US, I can help you to send back, but on your own cost. I'm not sure about acceptance of warranty by local authorized dealer.
