Hi there, I'm looking to learn jquery, are there any courses or training classes that the gurus here would recommend? I'm a designer and my coding skills are quite minimal, I'm proficient with html and css though.

Any recommendation or advise would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend just playing around with it straight away.
You learn faster that way, and check out How-To's / Tutorials.

Try to learn it yourself. It really is quite easy.

When I first stepped into JQuery, I have absolutely no knowledge in JScript. But after coding a few stuff, everything just becomes easy. So easy I can make anything without much hassle or reference and this is only about 6 or 7th time I made a script.

jquery makes javascript tolerable. Before the days of jquery, javascript was a nightmare laugh.gif

Its very easy to learn, you just need something to work on to get you started. Try to think of something to do, it can be simple as a draggable shopping cart or something.

Like any other programming language, the best way to learn is by using it on a pet project.
