DIY Customize a Shure SE530 cable

Since most people realize that Shure SE530 have the problem on the cable. How about if you modify the SE530 cable to custom cables?

Firstly, we need to break out the shell.

Solder away the old cables.

Now the earphones was successfully break out.

Get prepare a high quality 3.5mm gold audio jack, 0.02mm high quality Germany made gold-silver wires and cable tubes.

Pierce all the wires into cable tubes.

Solder it!

Now scroll the cables to make tidy.

Now solder up the 3.5mm audio jack.

Finally, a customized Shure SE530 was done.

then the shell doesn't look nice edi , haha .
Why not try to reshell it , also can customize the cable by urself too.

ey, nice post. learnt quite alot how stuffs looked like inside IEMs lol~ and how those cables looked like before soldering.

What about the sound impressions with the new cable now?
If i got SE530 I won't open it, rm2k stuff heart also hurt leh if open like that.

unless u facing the cable problem , but i heard alot ppl said that after recable , the SE530 taste will gone .

i think that there is not recommended go for silver cables. Oxygen-free copper should be good enough for sound quality.

I think you can try go to some professional speakers or hi fi shop to find these cables.
