btw, there is the usual avedesk tray icon when u launch it, but after a while it'll spin into oblivion.. is that your case too?

For me, avedesk icon is system tray is blank....there isn't anything. Anyone encounter this??

Blank? try this.

go to task manager, and end "avedesk" process.
Open your avedesk app again. the icon should be at systray.

you can always change avedesk systray icon...
go to desklet control panel>settings>global settings
then choose tray icon tab...

I go to desklet control panel>settings>global settings
then choose tray icon tab...
After that, i choose default icon.........and the icon appears now.

This time, also for Winamp!

Description
Basically, just shows the albumart of the current song you are listening to in either WinAmp or iTunes with a nice reflection.
Right click for options on auto-hiding and CD-case.

What's new
+ WinAmp Support! [see notes]
+ CD Case (can be turned off)
+ AutoHiding when there's no player loaded (can be turned off)
+ Now doesn't make iTunes show the annoying "A scripting interface is still using iTunes blah blah" - message anymore.
+ right click for options.
+ Albumart now gets loaded properly from folder.jpg or, when using iTunes and if possible, from the embedded file inside the MP3.
+ fixed "Alternate Song Bug".

WinAmp Notes
WinAmp, with ActiveWinamp installed. Don't forget to reload winamp after installing the plugin.

you'll see a round arrow at lower right, click that.. watch it rotate biggrin.gif then type in the city

then click lower right again to rotate..

Whenever I insert a CD or DVD, the MY COMPUTER will turn into the CD/DVD drive. Is there anyway to disable that?

Whenever I insert a CD or DVD, it will automatically create a shortcut of the Drive on the desktop. Anyway to disable that?

open desklet control panel > extras > modules > modify modules

uninstall automounter.dll
