Yo guyz juzz got myself a R501.So i officially joined the club yah....Sounds really good.Got it for my younger bro's system actually.Mine is connected to a PHILIPS AURILIUM ext sound card....After proper setting on the treble and bass...i really see the BANG for my cash...really worth it but one thing i still require, a pair of speaker stands for my 2 back satelites.Anyone can reccomend me a set of stands and price aswell?

U can get the R501 spk stand @ RM129 in Edifier showroom or ALL IT.

i've been using R501 MKII about 2 years++
but 1 thing i haven get it clear...

does R501 have THX?
if compare with other brand 5.1 speaker which have THX support, which one better?

if you check on the hometheaterglossary (website), thx is a quality certification that assure sound quality on a speaker that play well in 3000cubic feet. there's also THX Ultra and ultra II which is more strict.

I don;t think R501 have THX cert but nvm, u can get a S2.1MK2 if you want a quality beyond THX Select.

THX is a marketing tool onli. It doesn't mean a spk pass the THX will have better sq than other which doesn't have it.

you actually pay more for a THX speaker cuz of the certification.
so judge yourself whether it is a necessary
