I was offer the PS3 Limited Edition (JP version) with MGS4 bundled (released in June 12, "Gun Metal" color (new color), wireless controller, making of MGS4 video and soundtrack. Plus this "Gun Metal" color is the ONLY PS3 system is made in Japan instead of China.

How much should I pay in RM$?

Can u set the ps3 resolution? hmm.gif

try to set to recommended resolution or maximum resolution (1440 x 900)

normally DHCP function is to set automatically the resolution but

maybe u can try ask to sales person who sell it to u how to configure it..

bring along ur ps3.. its a better way..

if anything wrong u can send it for the warranty on the spot..

but make sure within 1 weeks cuz u can exchange 1 to 1 if the monitor

got something wrong sumwhere..

Hi all, are there any "switch" that can have 2 systems (PC & PS2) to share 1 speaker?

As I will be using my monitor with both my PC and PS2.

PS: I'm a noob in home AV setup.

Thanks.

U can actually use a headphone splitter in order to do so and it costs a few RM onli.... U can get it in the electronics store nearby.....

PS: Dun use ur PC and PS2 at the same time coz u will hear both PC and PS2 audio at the same time....

Another alternative is if u hav a TV box, then u can just share ur PC and PS2 audio input (no need to plug in any video input if u r not playing through a monitor) through the TV box and use the remote or button on the TV box to switch which input u wanna use..... This allow u to use both PC and PS3 at the same time without hearing 2 audio output from ur PC and PS2....

Hi Aura,

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually yesterday I got myself a Y-connector to plug in audio thru my PC. So far still okay cause when I play game I will turn off my other applications and perform virus scan tongue.gif

As for headphone splitter, I'll check it out and see if its better option than what I'm using now.

Prices drop...

QUOTE
XboX 360 for $299, no PS3 price cuts
Posted on 12.07.2008 at 03:14 in Tech News by Martin
Though Microsoft still hasn’t made it official, every media outlet from Kotaku to the Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the Xbox 360 Pro will soon cost just $299. The move lops $50 off the price of the console and–once in effect–will make it just $50 more than the Nintendo Wii and $100 cheaper than the $399 40GB PlayStation 3. In the past, such moves have sparked tit-for-tat price wars. In 2004, Microsoft dropped the cost of the original Xbox to $149, only to see Sony do the same to the PlayStation 2 weeks later. Last summer, Sony discontinued the 60GB PS3 by pricing it to sell at $499–a move that was quickly followed by Microsoft discounting its Xbox 360 models to $279 (HDD-less Arcade), $349 (20GB Pro), and $449 (120GB Elite).

Four months later, Sony introduced the $399 40GB PS3, a move that has put the PS3 and 360 neck-and-neck in sales ever since. Though the June US sales numbers are not yet out, many expect the introduction of the $499 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle to further boost the platform at retail. So will Microsoft’s latest move spark a response from Sony? No, according to Nobuyuki Oneda, the electronics giant’s chief financial officer. “Our plan is not to reduce the price,” the executive told the Nomura Asia Equity forum in Singapore, reports Dow Jones. “Our strategy is not to sell more quantity for PS3 but to concentrate on profitability.”
