@TS juz buy the black caviar since it only cost u rm40 more than the green or the samsung...
5 year warranty sumore+ bit more performance...

Samsung's SpinPoint F3 has much more performance, except for seeks, and is cheaper than both WD offerings.

I have 1tb cav green and it claimed warranty twice in 4 months. so i went and order 1tb cav black and so far no problem at all. i have another two 640 cav green and no problem too, 24/7 torrent.

I have two WD10EADS that have given me no problems for 8 months already.

i have 1tb wd green which is inside the mybook casing, no clicking sound i ever heard. if u got hear clicking sound, better start backing up before its too late

The particular clicking sound we're discussing regarding the Caviar Greens is actually normal. For Caviar Greens that aren't in use for a while, it will store the read/write heads to save energy. This storing process is what creates that click and why the Greens have slightly less performance if there is plenty of time for it to go idle.
