no one said nvidia is bullshit and no one said gtx295 is slower than a hd5870.the gtx295 is still the king but can you pay 1.7k for it and pay it's electric bill?compare that to the performance of a hd5850 that is still faster than a gtx285 yet uses less power.[the hd5870 is NOT worth the 1.3k price tag ]

If GTX295 actually drops to RM600, it means ATi is super far ahead already.
