Hi newbie question, I'm planning to get a new monitor for my 13" Mac Book Pro.. Just wondering which monitor is suitable for 13"...

What if my notebook can't go too high reso. can I still go for 23"

If your notebook is brand new, I don't think there's any problem displaying 1080p, most notebook nowadays should be able to handle 1080p without any issue.
