how often do you defrag you pc or laptop?
any recommendation on how to speed up pc performance?

Rarely... Though it's debatable if defragging actually gives substantial performance boosts. Maybe with a huge HDD that is seriously fragged, think 40%, then yes, you would see a difference.

Once in 3 months. Very much depends on ur hard disk data transfer usage. Good to defrag after dl torrents.

i use diskeeper as it has auto defrag features.
manually i do once a week.

2. Auslogics Registry Cleaner
3. Auslogics Disk Defrag

an advice: don't over-defrag ur system. do it weekly or bi-weekly.

I heard that defrag software will go the way of the dinosaur when ssd come into play since due to the speed and nature of SSD's, you dont need to defrag your hdd unlike a mechanical hdd.

No la... how come, its working like car too, sometimes you go faster sometimes not, only when it comes to its mechanism defect or its lifespan...

If my game files are become fragments.
Windows defrag atleast 1 time a week.
I defrag after updates (windows)

1.How many software u installed/uninstalled in that particular period?
2.How frequent u transfer/write data on hard disk in that particular period?
