Guys, i had been in Singapore for 2 months (include extension) undergoing job hunt and hopefully can get a job within 2 months but i was unlucky, till now i still haven got a job yet and my visitor pass expired on 15th November. I had extend my visitor pass already and i can't extend anymore. Also, recently, there are few agents calling me and they had help me to submit my resume, one of the agents kinda in hurry of hiring 2 chemical engineers and somehow, i had confident that i gonna get shortlisted and maybe got tat job. But now the problem is that my visitor pass end on 15th, what if i am short listed and that time my visitor pass ended and i am back in Malaysia, can i come over Singapore right away or i have to stay in Malaysia for few days or week or month to reset my visitor pass? icon_question.gif

I really don't know. Perhaps you can ask the agent. They might know.

If not, call up the Singapore immigration department and ask.

In any case, you don't have much of a choice. You need to get out by 15th, right?

Yeah, times are tough. How old are you? What are your qualifications? Where did you graduate from?

Just curios.

I am from Kuching le, i really would prefer to go in oil and gas company, but those job require at least 3 years of exp. I am trying to apply for training for shell in singapore here, hopefully can get accepted and train for 6 months + then will let them determine whether i can work in shell or not. Sigh, not sure wanna give up job hunting in Singapore or not.

Those management trainee jobs in those big companies are not easy to get. Big companies will still hire, but they are selective though.

I got Chem Eng friends who started in electronics industries, medical, other chemicals before they moved on to oil and gas.
