What is amax WiMax?
amax WiMax is a wireless broadband service based on WiMAX technology provided by Asiaspace Sdn Bhd. amax provides Internet connections that are more reliable and many times faster than most broadband services that are currently available today in Malaysia. amax provide an incredible amount of bandwidth, with extremely high speeds. amax will bring wireless broadband to the end users - who will enjoy true broadband speed running Internet applications such as business portals, video on demand, voice over broadband, video games and other contents that require high bandwidth.

Why should I choose amax WiMax?
- Truely UNLIMITED bandwidth volume! (Maxis - 3GB, Celcom 5GB, P1 - 5/10/20GB, U-Mobile - ??)
- NO TORRENT CAPPING/THROTTLING! (see attached image for proof!!)
- You'll enjoy almost full of the advertised speed (you can speedtest result in my signature!!)
- Price as low as RM68/month
- Easy registration and account will be activated within 1 hour
- Pay only upfront first month of your monthly bill during registration (RM50 of registration fee will be charged into 2nd month bill)
- Coverage will be at all populated area in Malaysia by 2010
- 12 months warranty of the USB and CPE modem

How to know your maximum download speed?
Download speed = Internet speed / 8
eg. for 1.5Mbps @ 1500kbps :-
Download speed = 1500kbps / 8 = 187.5kB/s

Check if your area is covered by amax WiMax byclicking here!

I PERSONALLY WOULD SAY THIS IS THE BEST WIRELESS BROADBAND I'VE EVER HAVE. BECAUSE OF ITS CONSISTENT SPEED.

PM or SMS me and I'll get to you back for meeting arrangement: Farhan 019-7524700

Not yet but maybe next year. As usual, Klang Valeey will be the first, and then Penang following by JB. I must say all wireless broadband are following that trend regardless of 3G, or P1 W1max... nod.gif

According to amax's website, UPM Serdang area isn't covered yet. How ever I'm sure will be covered near future.
Because they are still in progress installing base station in the area.

Unfortunately not. I don't know if this is true but I believe Jaring Flite Wireless and amax uses different technology.

This is the example:-
amax uses the latest WiMax technology. When I saw the picture of the modem inside amax's web, my first thinking was I could use my Huawei E220 for amax. But it appears that I was wrong. amax uses Huawei Echolife BM355 WiMax modem. Only physical is the same with Huawei E220, but it is actually not. sweat.gif
FYI, I was a user of Jaring Flite Wireless, Maxis 3G, Celcom 3G, and now stick to amax! amax satisfies me the most! icon_idea.gif

You can buy the modem from them. But there are still "minimum subscription period" term applies in the T&C. Buy the modem for RM188 (USB) or RM288 (CPE) and the minimum subscription period will be 12 months. I still don't know what will happen if a customer requested for termination within the period, because in the T&C only say "Subscriber cannot terminate the service within the period" or something like that. Nothing says about any compound or fine or anything else.

But up until now, I'm very satisfied with the service. No reason for me to terminate yet. thumbup.gif

Should be OK. Look at the map, and find for Bandar Tasik Selatan. My area is actually Sungai Besi, which the whole Sg Besi isn't covered, but I'm getting full speed.

If really interested, I can arrange my man to see you. Make sure your room isn't blocked by any hills or building.

Try to see the map again, look at the red shaded area. Find its center (the base station should be at the center of the red shaded area).
Try to find the direction to the center from your room. See if any large building is blocking. Buildings could weaken the signal.

Is OK. I understand students at HUKM. PM me your phone number & your name. I'll have my man to call you and make an arrangement.
If you take, while registration, pay only RM68 for upfront first month bill. Means, no bill will be send to your address on the 1st month. Only on the 2nd month you'll start receiving your bill.

A one-time registration fee will be charged to your 2nd month bill. That will be RM50.

Trial is 7 days. Means, you register, you pay the 1st month upfront, you use. If not satistied, you return and get refund. But I guess the refund isn't immediately. Takes some days if I'm not mistaken.
