I already do delete the upperfilte-something and do research how to overcome it..
but still get this problem.. cry.gif

what i know code 10 normally refers to driver...
that means ur cd rom got problem.... try to pull the cd rom plug out and fix it back

i just had that problem.....i tried alot of things...but none of them worked so i just buy new optical drive

ya.. i already done it..i unplug it from my laptop ..and put it back..
the result is...same...

im sorry to say, i think your cdrom is not functioning anymore...
might condsider getting a new 1..
or bring to a technician first to confirm the problem

so, that mean my cd-rom cant be saved anymore?
because it suddenly happen, i just on my laptop normally..
Open My Computer and i see it there and close it..
and i open once again my computer..its gone

swt.. if bios also cant detected ... normally faulty aredi ... nvm dvd rom very cheap aredi . if ur laptop got warranty ,,, can go claim back ~

what u mean by bios cant detect? coz i see at my bios it shows @L%DT-ST DVDRAE GSA-T20N..
so, could someone tells how much a new dvd rom for acer aspire 4520? coz my warranty fin oredy..
i need to do budget for my study sweat.gif

Usually this error appear if install wrong driver for hardware..
TS..did u update driver for ur cdrom or it happen by itself?..

well... i didn't do anything..i just open my laptop and watch Naruto..
then i noticed no cd rom icon on my computer

maybe i should give up with this unfixed problem by send my laptop to repair..

u can use USB boot the window installer .. but sum of ppl cant use USB to boot ~ but u may hav a try = =

ya, if about regkey..i alredy did it.. it says delete upper-something and lower-something (sorry i don't remember the thing)
