I see this guy ad in ebay malaysia, selling i phone 3gs 32gb. he claim that he is kastam of malaysia, and have underwater goods i phone for just 2000.. below is his phone, i nego half payment and balance upon receive, but he says because he need take this phone from his boss bigger pangkat then him 1, so need full payment. I trust him and after payment he sent me a invalid tracking no.

refuse to answer my call, i use other phone call him he answer very nicely, i ask him where is my phone he hang up imeadiately.

already make police report, but I think my money is gone d... coz i have no confident to our malaysia PDRM..... haiz.... i just open this to ask all of frens here becareful this guy who claim he is from kastam!

Before we go further, let me explain on the item. Actually this item is
an underwater (Customs/Kastam) item. Which means this item has been
seized due to tax problems. There is no middle man involved, therfore
you are getting it direct, this is why it is cheap. I have a few units
to be sold, therefore, you do not have to Bid. You could purchase direct
from me without having to Bid. Due to limited stock, i base on first
come first serve basis. Who makes the payment first, gets it.

Regarding the Warranty, Full Warranty for 1 Year will be provided by
Principal in Hong Kong. This is because item came in from Hong Kong. Not
only that, from my side, i will offer 3 months Full warranty. Which
means, if there is any problem or you are not satisfied with the
condition, you can ask for a replacement (1 to 1 Switch) or full refund
will be given. This item is 100% Brand new and Original. Not an
imitation, recond or 2nd hand unit.

For your information, since this is our first deal, COD or COC could not
be done. This is for the safety of both parties. I only do COD with my
previously ready buyers. Perhaps on the second deal we could already
COD. Payment can be made through Bank transfer. Once payment being made,
item will be ship to you via courier on the same day via poslaju.
Shipping charges will be covered by me. Unless you require it to be sent
by other courier companies like DHL, Fedex, GD Express, etc.. then you
have to add the differences. Once Shipping had been done, i will sms to
you the tracking number. Im sure you will wonder, how if you already
made the payment and the item did not arrive? Do contact me and i will

Anyway as Ebay buyer and seller I would like to say please see seller or buyer feedback before buy.That is very important.So you know who you dealing with.For your lost,i feel sorry and hope you can buy it legal this time.We need black and white.Sorry if this make u mad or something.

I have to agree with you that I myself lost confident with the authorities especially the customs.
Do check out their websites and it is already stated in there that many posers are around to scam people.

So do becareful. Politely ask for his id and do a verification check before you deal with them.

I have a friend whose car was cheated by these irresponsible people.

I am buying the maxis now.... i m planing to buy the legal maxis the 1st place, but tired of that waiting period is killing me! but anyway have to wait too now........ i have learn a lesson.....

yes, for online scamming, our police force doesnt have much "envy" or power to solve it.
they didnt have enough "pegawai penyiasat"..
unless its a really big case...

nevertheless, for the next deal, u should be careful. practice COD.
if anybody ask for deposit, ask him/her his/her photocopy of ID + driver license.
and also make an effort, make a video call *yes, video* to verify his IC/license number with his/her face

talking about our polis, they just care about their $, unless u have some frens inside, normally this sort of case they dun even bother it, ya, after this case if i m buying anything fr the net definitely will be COD...... scare already! thanks dude!

no no, u must understand that our police force tried their best to help us.
the problem is, they are a little bit "mundur" in terms of cyber criminals like this.
if its a "physical" cases, they have no problem dealing with it, coz they have been doing that for ages.
that is why they want to recruit more policemen / policewomen in the future
so we can expect a better job from our police force in about..er... maximum 5 years

oh btw, i'm a neutral, from my point of view.

I try my best to convince myself they are trying to help us, but unless i m blind...... i cant do that, u just go to our penang polis hq and see their service, their way of asking, is like u can not feel even 1% he is caring about this case. haiz, forget about it.

I also hope that like u said, in the future our PDRM will be better....

My advise is pls don't be so greedy to buy cheap phones,otherwise you'll regret for it.
If there is a deal, go meet him! Deal a COD!
If he gave many reasons, just get off and find other seller.
