You can get direct download links from here. If you're still unable to download, make sure you scan your computer for viruses, as it might get infected with Conficker virus.

so far i tested norton, karpasky, avira. and now testing NOD32 x64 seem pretty good compare with the rest.

no as heavy RAM consumption like the rest.

I recommend MSE. Get it from MS website. It runs silently in the background and doesn't bug you unless something fishy is going on.

DOWNLOAD MSE

Just want to ask something. Everytime I open application(outlook, word, compiling things..etc), cpu usage in task manager will spike to maximum for a few seconds(sometimes minutes), my computer become slow... then cpu usage will return to normal and the app will open. Does it mean something fishy is going on? sweat.gif

sorry noob here.
i hv win7 home premium 64bit. do i need other av apps (eg AVG, Avira. KAV etc) after installing MSE? I read that MSE is already an all-in-one solution. According to MSE site, it is not wise to add other AV app cuz it'll slow down the system and may conflict one another. So, right now i have only MSE and i also a little confuse dont know whether to add one more av app. Kindly enlighten sifus. thanks.

I previously used the beta version of Kaspersky for Win 7 (No longer available for download...), however. It only supports 32 bit OS's. And I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, takes up helluva lotta memory.

Try using Comodo antivirus, it comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions.

Free!
