Hi, can any of you perform a traceroute?

I tried to perform a traceroute but I get time out, can you guys perform one?

If you can, I would appreciate if you can perform a trace route to karhoe.net and post the result here, thanks

Has nothing to do with DNS. The last hop(s) are not responding to your traceroute packets, that's all.

Try traceroute -I ICMP (at least with the debian one). Sometimes you'll have better luck that way than with the default UDP probe packets.

To be technical, TM did not block traceroute.

They block ICMP packets with 64 bytes length.

Traceroute in Windowz uses 64 byte ICMP by default, so it appears blocked.

U can hack the tracert.exe in Windows directory to make it use some other packet size, but need some hex editing/reverse assembly knowledge.

But the result still is trace route is blocked for everyone ....

What is their reasoning to block ICMP packets with 64 bytes length?
