I recently hav subscribed to p1, bcoz da network speed is quite good during da trial period..but soon after da subscription, da speed has become as low as dial up connection..but i hav adi sign a 2 years contract with it..so my question is whether i can terminate da contract base on da reason of dis slow connection ??thx for any reply..

but to answer ur question, take some ping screenshots and/or speedtest.net results and attach them to a letter describing your problem and your wish to terminate and then wish for the best lorh...

in trial period your connection was ok? then after subscribe suddenly become crappy? i actually looking forward to try p1 too.. but after your experience it makes me think twice..

the reason of slow speed is congestion, pls take note p1 is on shared line. so the more subcribers on line the slower it is. so u will find inconsistent speed over the time. some area is very good so it is all depend on your luck. my p1 is very very slow (most of the time) in setapak home, but ok in my office (taman desa), but i dun need p1 in office since office hv tm net dedicated broadband line. it is much faster than p1. i will sufferred greatly if i surf at home.. so i give up now..

hope tmnet also organize "Sudah Potong?" policy so u can 'potong' P1 line to tmnet.

You signed and now you're screwed. You can only complain to their customer service and MCMC and maybe even try the Ministry of ICT and Ministry of Domestic Trade and Affairs.

Complain to MCMC with OFFICIAL letters. Also write OFFICIAL LETTERS to P1. If i'm you, I'm not gonna pay any bills until they settle it. Keep a record of your speed test on a daily basis(say for a period of 2 weeks) and put this in a report to MCMC/P1 as evidence of P1 suckiness.

Streamyx is still king...haha..(well, at least for me).
