Hi, I'm fairly new to both blogging and html but I still decided to give it a try to create my own photoblog.
My friend suggested joomla so that's why I am using it now.
Here's the thing, I am currently trying to setup a RSS feed in my site by installing the plugin "Ninja RSS Syndicator (aka BCA RSS)" into my joomla. I followed the instruction and has successfully gotten my feed URL. The next step would be submitting the feed URL to feedburner.google.com to obtain another link to be included in my HTML.
This is where I need help. I've tried many many times and this is what I get all the time:

Identify Feed Source
Back to My Feeds
QUOTE
The feed URL you entered is:

http://www.mauinsons.com/joomla/index.php?...cator&feed_id=2

We could not find a valid feed at that address. Here are some possible reasons this might have happened:

    *

Is the feed valid? Confirm its validity now.

The feed your site already creates needs to be “valid enough” to work with FeedBurner. This post from the FeedBurner Help Center explains why technical validity matters.
    *

Are you using the URL of the web page or the URL of the feed?

FeedBurner is usually able to "auto-discover" your feed from a web page, but in this case we didn't find any related feeds. You may want to enter the URL of the feed directly.
    *

Is the URL is misspelled or a copy+paste action didn't work?

If that's the case, please try again.

I tried googling around but still I couldn't find a solution to this. As mentioned earlier I am very new to all this. I would appreciate if anyone could advise me on this issue.

BTW, my site is http://www.mauinsons.com

Thank you in advance

I'm aware of that....
However for the built in one, I need to create 1 feed for every category I have which I don't like. If you look at my site I have a few categories in my photoblog. With the Ninja RSS I can make just 1 RSS and lump all those category into 1 feed URL

Just go to every category, and click on the RSS button on the Nav bar.
You'll get this,
http://www.mauinsons.com/joomla/index.php?...t=feed&type=rss

Is that the feed for this category?

As mentioned...

I have a few categories, e.g. wedding, portrait, travel, event etc
If I were to use the built in RSS feed, i will have 1 feed for each category which I do not want - if I have 10 categories in my site, my visitor will need to create 10 RSS feed, 1 for each category.

Instead with the Ninja RSS I was suppose to create only 1 feed - whenever I add an article in any of the category, it will be updated in this single feed. So instead of having to save 10 RSS they will only need to save 1.

I am sorry that I do not know the correct terms to describe this as I'm not an IT person, neither am I have very much knowledge in this. Still I thank those who had suggested something smile.gif
