What colour does a knee-length navy blue dress matches with? I'm thinking of what shoes and earrings to match. Is black+silver ok? What about white+silver? Too much of a contrast? Or not?

In my opinion, definitely go with white. Silver works well with white.

As a general rule of thumb, avoid picking another dark colour to go with a dark colour [like navy blue].
