im staying in a hostel wif other hsemate.
1 of my hse mate everyday kept on downloading n cause our line slow... mad.gif
v hav told him many times since then but he still ignore us... vmad.gif
so i'd like to ask is there anyway to block p2p download through router setting ? icon_question.gif

its hard to block p2p...
the only way is talk to him or block his entire access to the internet via mac address restriction....

This sucking bandwidth problem or unfair sharing issue has been discussed many times here before.

Just get our Asus RT-N11, then set different SSID groups with different bandwidth allocation. Eg. Give your roommate VIP Zone 1 with only 20% of the bandwidth. That way, he won't makan everybody else. Simple right?

Our Asus RT-N11 is a well-known Xunlei or BT killer. We support fair bandwidth sharing. icon_rolleyes.gif

Just dc his LAN line from the router...
He dont give a damn... You can do the same.

Check your router see got any bandwidth management function available or not.
