That Quantum BigFoot ain't antique! Not in my books anyway. tongue.gif If you want to see a REAL antique HDD for 3.5" variety and IDE interface, then I do have one.. Its a Western Digital WD93044-A 43MB, and what makes it uniquely antique among the ancient 40MB drives is that it uses outdated stepper motor instead of modern voice coil system. brows.gif

Yups, that's the one.. See that little transparent stub potruding from the side? That's the stepper motor core. If you want me to upload the pictures of mine then just ask. wink.gif

43MB.. not even can fit Windows 95! biggrin.gif

Use either minimal install, nLiteOS or XPLite.. should be able to get around 1GB+ or more free space, quite enough to install other stuff. tongue.gif

Mine can still detect if using ancient PC but if using newer PCs somehow it show garbage.. perhaps speed problem (need to slow down IDE I/O). hmm.gif

u really are geng... mine only 80mb, and ur go as low as 40mb

anyhow, win3.1 still can use since it's less than 15mb. dos 6.2 oso can. if u only install it bare (w/o much of the command files), u can go as low as 1mb (just the important files - io.sys, command.com, etc etc)
