quite a nice pilot. not as riveting as flashforward, but i'm pretty sure the show will catch on. it's already established a pretty good premise, wide possibilities and potentials and pretty decent acting.

at least it's got 3 hot gals in it:

elizabeth mitchell, the blonde gal from lost (who had a really hot lesbian scene with angelina jolie in gia) for those who prefer mature women.

morena baccarin, the chick from firefly/serenity for those who're into latino/brazillian gal.

and laura vandervoort, supergirl/kara from smallville for the young ones.

no worries. all the new kids on the block here are probably in diapers when the series were running those days... tongue.gif

btw - the lead actor in it, the reporter dude used to be quite famous in the late 90s for his role as 'Bailey' in the then-teen flick Party of Five (it stars that dude from Lost too as his elder brother, and also Jennifer Love Hewwitt as his gf) ... i remembered following the series religiously in the UK - and what one sad series that was!

And ppl used to predict that that guy could become the next Tom Cruise...hmm...seems the prediction is wrong, but who knows, after this V series, he might just overshoot himself into the A list cast?

hope this new series can maintain the legendary legacy of the original.

Saw the pilot. Not too bad. But I heard it will only be 4 episodes then there will be a long break until march.

Anyway I like the jokes about Independence Day.

I still like the old V better. I think its because the old V was a mini series. The old V series lasted only 1 season because it was quite bad.
