guys, heres the replied i got from Nikon Malaysia,

Thank you for contacting Consumer Products. Your case has been forwarded to us. We will assist you from here.

I have look at the image you attached and Nikon Malaysia does not sell such item here.
All our filters in Malaysia are stated NC which means Neutral Color rather than HMC.

We hope we have addressed your concerns. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Regards,
Kavid Yan

It should be enough proof.
Print the letter out or ask Nikon to fax you a copy with signature to prove it's authenticity.

Good one bro! Let's hope it is lesson learnt for those con-shops..

I'm also looking to get my D90 soon, but it definitely would not be that shop! - I'm looking to go to J-One to get a best deal.. Hmm..

err... how much is the breakdown? The Hoya Pro1 as far as I know is inferior to the Hoya HD series, 3rd party battery should cost around RM50... 8GB cards are cheap too... how did all these add up to RM599? shocking.gif

Oh well, I end my story. laugh.gif Enjoy your new camera!

lets see...

3rd party batt ~ RM50-RM80
SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 8GB ~ RM228.00 (shashinki pricelist)
Filter (i assume another 58mm) ~ RM145.00 (shashinki pricelist)

RM423-RM453

So... they cut down on their conning margin?

I'm trying to figure out how to add all that up to get RM500+, hence the expensive items, tapi still fail...

But if they're el-cheapo ones, then I dunno tongue.gif maybe can knock another RM100 or more off
