I just realize Malaysia Blackberry user cant access Blackberry App world from Blackberry.

Can somebody help me and let me know where to get application for Blackberry?

1. Download the following .Zip File RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting
2. Unzip it to your desktop
3. Copy the files net_rim_bb_appworld.cod, net_rim_bb_appworld_resource_en.cod and JavaLoader.exe to the following folder depending on your Windows OS:
3.1 In Windows Vista “C:\Users\(Your User)
3.2 In Windows XP “C:\DocumentsandSettings\(Your User)
4. Start CMD (Windows Key + R and then type CMD)
5. Plug-in your BlackBerry
6. Type: javaloader -u load net_rim_bb_appworld_resource_en.cod
once done type next one:
7- Type: javaloader -u load net_rim_bb_appworld.cod

Afterwards your device will reboot and you will have it installed on your device
Tested on Javelin and Bold so far… Not sure if it will work on other devices!

STORM Users:

1. Download the following .Zip file: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting
2. Unzip it to your desktop
3. Run the Blackberry Desktop Manager
4. Select Application Loader
5. Select Add / Remove Applications
6. Select Browse and look at your desktop for the file “appworld.alx” and select it.
7. Click Next and then Finish.

There is no point of installing Appworld in the storm when it is not supported in our country. You will only see the same 8 free applications that already exist in the Application Center for Storm.

Same goes for the other devices as Appworld will function the same as the App Center in the storm, offering only the 8 free applications.

Why do you want it when there are no apps offered if you are in a country that is not supported by App World. You just end up with the 8 same free apps all the time.

Yup agreed. Works ok with me, managed to download and install all apps listed. please refer to my topic at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1147387 for some sample photo. all works ok. tested.

What about for Macuser? Should i copy to C:\Users\<user name>\Library\Application Support\BlackberryDesktop\Device Applications\?

you can put the file in whatever dir you want..as long you know how to grab it in cmd or (i don know what it call in mac)
my sample just to make window user easy to access....

me too...more then 8 app...but all free app only...cannot access paid one...

Thx, i will go figure, currently downloading the zip file, but their network is slow. There is terminal in MacOs (something like MSDOS prompt).

It's not sample, it's from Crackberry lol.

lankutu, tried the step one in your blog and failed... managed to installed but got error message behind the loading screen "Invalid signature in response from BB App World. BB App World must now exit."

looks like it doesn't work for 8520?

what version of app. world are u guys running? upgraded to latest 1.1. just now from 1.0.

Works ok, can notice few changes for example only 8 Featured Item displayed at the main screen, compared to last time 16 Item.. Also got Menu for Top Free Item and Top Paid Item.. Lots of apps inside.. Tried to download & install the apps.. and all are ok..

Conclusion.. Awesome!

I'm getting this error message everytime I try to launch it.

'ThemeManager.GetaAtiveTheme'

Any ideas?
