normal one should be around RM40+ to RM50+

are u sure? i bought earlier for RM599 at TARITA PHOTO AV TRADING SDN BHD.

sorry if you meant Nikon brand UV filter im not so sure

yamiya selling kenko standard UV filter 58mm for RM41..

i only read uv filter

no im pretty puzzled here since earlier i bought a 500D there. the LCD protector cost me about RM199 and plus the T NIKON 58MM UV FILTER that cost me RM599. the seller claiming both were the best.

he also said that T NIKON 58MM UV FILTER wont scratch, broke, and etc.
it also stated that the T NIKON 58MM UV FILTER were released earlier sept09.

its written Nikon HMC UV(N) 58MM JAPAN at the filter

thats why im still puzzled here x.x
i wanna ask about the latest UV Filter that cost rm599. since it released earlier sept-09. maybe there arent any much details.

but the price tag on the filter are surely stated RM599. O.O

even b+w UV slim haze mrc 77mm only around 400..

and screen protector only about 30-50 for 3"

sorry, u likely may have been conned

no way a UV filter can be that expensive even if is Nikon brand
even top brand which r better than Nikon oso cost Rm300-400 for big filter size like 77mm, 58mm shudn be that expensive
best screen protector oso around Rm100+ if expensive

Tarita is famous for conning ppl......

just think of it this way. the bigger the size the more expensive it is.

TS.. shop naturally just put the price in the shop damn high so they can mark down. not sure about ur case cause i personally never deal with this brand for UV filter before so.. its difficult for me to comment.

he stated tat it was new. released on sept 09 and believe me! i already did google it and find NUTHING resulting me creating a thread here.

im been conned? seriously? im taking this seriously as i planned to buy D90 at 1st. later on all the money ready the seller keeps on pushing 500D to me. my father used to cater about canon so yeah.

the money are a BIG issue since the total i payed for it

CANON EOS500D = package
KINGSTON 4GB SDHC =package
CANON RED/HUGGER BAG = 3199 (3 years warranty)
GGS 3.0" LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR = 199
T NIKON 58MM UV FILTER = 599

FOR TOTAL = RM3950

i.. have been conned???

599 for a filter?
from garage sale you can buy 2 of the same lens!
so even the filter can be shatter proof or what not..
i rather buy 2 as spare!
