iiii good day people...

someone please xplain to me about specification p.c confuse...i playing rainbow six vegas...but my graphic so slow to play that game...?? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

-PROBLEM ISSUE-PROCESSOR OR GRAPHIC CARD

here the spec

-intel ®core™2duo CPU 2.66GHZ 2.67 GHZ
-MOTHERBOARD-GIGABYTE S SERIES-GA P35-DS3
-RAM 2.0 GB
-GRAPHIC CARD ATI RADEON HD 2600XT 512-I WANNA CHANGE IT SUGGESTION PLEASE FOR GAMERS

RAINBOW SIX VEGAS SPEC

Minimum Configuration:

* CPU: 3 GHz Pentium 4 Hyper Treading or AMD Athlon 3000
* Operating System: Windows Vista/Windows XP SP2 (only)
* Memory: 1024MB for Windows XP / 2048MB for Windows Vista
* Drive Space: 7 GB
* Graphics Card: 128 MB DirectX -compliant, Shader 3.0-enabled video card
* Sound Card: DirectX-compliant sound card
* DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c (included on disc)

Recommended & Preferred Configuration:

* CPU: Intel and AMD processors 3.2 GHz
* Operating System: Windows Vista/Windows XP SP2 (only)
* Memory: 2048MB

It should run,i think.

I would recommend you to get nVidia 260GTX(depends on your budget and mobo etc) to replace your old GC.ATi graphics card tend to have some problems with certain games,like Shift where people have top of the range ATi GC,it refuse to start at all.

If low budget,get 9800 gtx also cn ba~~
That would do..
If hardcore,go straight gtx295~~

Somethings not right,as your specs is clearly higher than even recommended.

You're right. That specs detector is bugged. It doesn't seem to recognize dual cores as superior to single cores.

I ran it on max with a E6420 and 8600gts. Beautiful.

so, the problem is your proc or graphic card?

i also played that game before, no problem launching with E6550 and 3650 256 ddr2

furthermore, 3.5GHz? thats madness. i ran this game on my 2.3GHz Athlon XP, 1GB of ram, and a 7600GT. it ran smooth at 1024x768 (my monitor's max at the time tongue.gif).

i'd say run the game and see what happens, spec detector be damned.
