i need to do a program based on vb6
for data acquisition from a solar experiment system

i search through google and was hard to found the data acquisition information

Who u get this assignment from?
If u unable to get the data should ask them about the detail instead,
looking for alternate info sometimes can lead u to the wrong path

Furthermore its not about coding problem in ur case... yet

Agree.. unless u have the existing data.
If u want real-time data, you need to find the source. whoever ask for it, they might have some ideas

hmm, i dont hv existing data..

i need to build a hardware to control resistance,
outputs are voltage and current

all i need is to write a software to collect data from hardware
mayb will find solution from matlab programming

i think you havent solved either first or second phase of SDLC methodology which problem statement (1st) and analysis...

before u develop u must solve this two problem first... i think i'm agree with anti-informatic... try to find the person who suggested this program for you...
only the suggester really knows what they want.
