Thanks bro notworthy.gif still have a long way to go. Before this already played around with lumix lx3 but now only started dslr. All i cay say its been a humbling experience. Theres alot more to learn in term of the camera settings / compositions /experience.

I hope it's not my monitor issue, viewing using company laptop.. laugh.gif

the color looks great when it's applied with strong saturation and contrast but in the "stalking" photo the red bird seems to lost it's detail... can't really tell any texture on the wings and body.. sweat.gif

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah i think i overdo it on the picture, Kinda frustrated since the bird keeps moving and then flashes of light (since its taking refuge under shades so its my ev keeps pon jumping laugh.gif So then end result is somewhat underexposed picture. Then i kinda burn it too much.

i find 2nd photo has the best composure and third photo the WB is totally off and superartificial..

others were ok but the background n foreground is very distracting..it distract our attention from the bird.

i also noticed that most of the photos are on the soft side..maybe its the lens.

just my 0.00000000000000000000000000000002 cents

Nice pics. Are these images color adjusted in camera or using other software? Photoshop?

Am newbie myself but these birds dont look that colorful in real life.. I thought good photography should make the pictures "as you see it". The colors make it look artificial. Is this just down to each and everyone's preference or what?

Sorry for the late reply. When i shoot the birds with a vivid settings. Then when im processing it i tweak the colors so it'll show up more. This is because the location of birds didn't help much as in producing the detail / richness of the bird itself. Most of the birds like (bird # 5 and #6 )are located under shades of trees and most of the details already lost.

Thanks for your valuable insights. I'll keep it in mind so that i don't tend to 'overcooked' the images.
