I'm currently doing research on CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) Programming... and I'm looking for a particular software that does CGI programming...

So i'm kinda wondering is Maya 3D enables u to do CGI programming or it's just 3D Modeling software?

im not really sure about your definition on CGI prog..but yeah,usually, maya,3d max let user predefine some script when animate the model during the rendering..so,its not just a modeler(like autocad )
