It does take some efforts (mainly caused by human stupidity), but the thread is there, especially if you have Wine installed

well, it seems to only affect the wine subsystem. so it's not actually a linux virus. plus, it requires a high level of stupidity to get infected(like most other linux virus).

i do respect who designed it though. nice bait.

I'm not kinda understand a lil bit about have WIN viruses in Wine.

does wine need root to execute? and if not, then i think, no harm at all. the virus just manipulate wine registery (not sure bout this.)

but the virus keep give a reminder to user. thus, the writer (who wrote the blog) kill the process, and restore to original wine reg.

correct me if im wrong
