Still, I'll go with 4-4-2. I don't think we're effective with one striker upfront.

-----------VDS----------

O'shea--Evans--Vidic--Evra--

Valencia-Fletcher-Scholes/Ando-Nani

----Berbatov---Rooney-----

I'm not sure if giggs is prepared, he hasn't played the last 5 matches. I think even if he's fit im expecting him to be on the bench. If no scholes, i'd like to see anderson.

But we'll never know if fergie comes out with a 4-3-3/4-5-1.

-----------VDS----------

O'Shea--Evans--Vidic--Evra-

--Fletcher--Carrick-Anderson-

-Valencia--Berbatov-Rooney--

The 3 man in midfield look nice tho.

if we field 4-4-2, will we win the midfield battle? since they got so many of world class midfielder
i suggest we should place back 4-3-3, then revert back to 4-4-2 if needed

That's the winger position, that's why Valencia is part of a front 3 on the right, and Rooney out wide on the left with Berbatov centre. Carrick sits in the middle.

Carrick play upfront on the right????????????????????? rclxub.gif

My lineup:

_________________VDS__________________

O'Shea------Evans--------Vidic-------------Evra

Fletcher-------------Carrick--------------Anderson

----Valencia--------Berbatov----------Rooney-----

This lineup has balance going forward and can easily revert to a 4-5-1 when defending. Maybe Carrick on the right to swap with Fletcher. Fletcher to sit on Lampard.

It's a bit of a problem.

With 433 we know we can hold our own in the middle of the park, but going forward would be terrible. Berba definitely can't play the lone guy, and if we play Rooney as the one uptop, there's not much support for him. The wingers would get a lot of the ball, but can't do anything with it. And the midfield for some reason don't bomb forward effectively. They just sit there expecting the front 3 to work things out themselves.

With 442 we would open ourselves up a bit and maybe not have as much control as we would want, but we stand a better chance to get a goal. If O'Shea starts on the right, hopefully he would be able to support the RW ahead of him better than previously.. and I hope he didn't try to be a smartass making forward passes like a Veron would too much like against Liverpool which resulted in one of their goals.

place Berbatov on left wing position on the paper, when we move forward, Evra going up and Berbatov revert back to middle, is it okay?
oh well is up to SAF to give us surprise on the line up

Wow Rooney to become the next most expensive player? If SAF really transfers him, then we would have 160 million to throw around.

Dint know who the hell the winger is but theres a STAR behind his position, so i guess he would be fit to replace Giggs position anytime??

Totally agree with buying the Russian keeper. Akinfeev is better than both Foster and Kusczak.

Nice AUDI there Anderson thumbup.gif Audi sponsor Man Utd one ryte..?
